(in this case: tom (t), mary (m), and henry (h)) to vote on the referee’s call.

the decision is based on the majority rule, but in the case of a tie, the coach’s

(c) vote (v) is the final decision. the voting machine must indicate whether or

not a play stands as called by the referee: a 0 is cast to vote against the referee; a

1 is cast to vote in agreement with the referee.
