The pressure in an automobile tire depends on the
temperatureof the air in the tire. when the air temperature
is25oc, the pressure gage reads 210kpa. if the volume
ofthe tire is 0.025 m3, determine the pressure rise in
thetire when the air temperature rises to 50oc.
also, determine the amount of air that must be bled off to
restorepressure to its original value at this temperature. assume
theatmospheric pressure to be 100 kpa.
do the calculations asssuming an ideal gas and thenrepeat the
calculations using a compressibility factor.
