Why are dynamic heads greater than static heads?
1. because static suction lifts are limited in vertical lift
2. because the friction losses are always greater than the
static heads
3. because they are measured on the discharge side of the
pump
4. because they include the static heads plus the friction
losses in the suction and discharge pipes
