When you buy a trackphone, do you have to pay a monthly wage or do you just need to buy the minutes and that's all?

You pay for the minutes, not bimonthly :) 

When I had a trackphone i didn't have to pay monthly wages I just needed to buy minutes but your minutes run out so when they run out you have to buy
more minutes.
