can anyone help her who uses laptops the most pls

mainly her laptop got hanged with the screen on (while she was seeing you tube) so she tried to off it by pressing the sleep mode botton but it's not turning off I mean the light is still on so she closed the laptop so it goes to sleep mode but when she opened the laptop the screen was still visible that means it Didn't go to the sleep mode and the keyboard is also not working I mean when she turn on the captions a light turns on its also not turning on and it you see the down sides of a laptop you will see a light papers when the laptop is on and the light does not appear when. it's off but my laptop is definitely on as I can see the screen but the lights are off (that shows that the laptop is on)
pls help her as tomorrow
