subject

Can get another GCSE/A-level qualification after the ones I'm already taking? We had to pick our options in Year 8 (aged 12), and I know I made a massive mistake picking the ones I did. I took art and music, and am now realising my passion and overall skill for computer science.

I've always struggled choosing what I want to do with my life, e. g. my higher education, job, etc., and now I've realised the reason I've always struggled to decide is because I thought I was limited to the subjects I've picked for GCSE. If I consider all the courses, then the ones I know I want to take are ones that mean I would've had to have taken computer science as a GCSE.

My school downright refuses to let us switch subjects after a 6-week-period immediately after we've handed in our forms stating what subjects we want to take, so switching now is impossible. I really wish I could take online schooling, both to take more tech-related electives and because I would thrive so much better in online education, but that option is seemingly out of reach because I don't believe you can get funding for it, and my family refuse to pay for it, even if I help.

I'm just terrified. I can't see myself doing anything beside a job that directly relates to computer science, and I know I would be doing so much better if I had taken it. I know this question will probably get taken down because it's not directly academical, but there are other questions on this site of a similar vein, so I'm hoping it lasts long enough to get an answer, at least. I googled, and asked on student forums, but none gave me an answer.

If I was able to take another subject after my GCSEs, would it hold the same amount of status as the ones I'm already sitting? If I wasn't able, and had to pursue that education individually, where could I find it, and would it even count for anything? How much would it cost?

Write a method that takes in an array of point2d objects, and then analyzes the dataset to find points that are close together. be sure to review the point2d api. in your method, if the distance between any pair of points is less than 10, display the distance and the (x,y)s of each point. for example, "the distance between (3,5) and (8,9) is 6.40312." the complete api for the point2d adt may be viewed at ~pf/sedgewick-wayne/algs4/documentation/point2d.html (links to an external site.)links to an external site.. try to write your program directly from the api - do not review the adt's source code.

Write a program that lets the user play the game of rock, paper, scissors against the computer. the program should work as follows. 1. when the program begins, a random number in the range of 1 through 3 is generated. if the number is 1, then the computer has chosen rock. if the number is 2, then the computer has chosen paper. if the number is 3, then the computer has chosen scissors. (don’t display the computer’s choice yet.) 2. the user enters his or her choice of “rock”, “paper”, or “scissors” at the keyboard. (you can use a menu if you prefer.) 3. the computer’s choice is displayed. 4. a winner is selected according to the following rules: • if one player chooses rock and the other player chooses scissors, then rock wins. (the rock breaks the scissors.) • if one player chooses scissors and the other player chooses paper, then scissors wins. (scissors cuts paper.) • if one player chooses paper and the other player chooses rock, then paper wins. (paper wraps rock.) • if both players make the same choice, the game must be played again to determine the winner. be sure to divide the program into functions that perform each major task. include the code and the console output from running your program with test inputs in your report.
