The number of liters  of  0.45 m Hcl  that  will be  required to titrate  completely  is calculated as below

write the equation  for reaction

that is NaOH + HCl = NaCl + H2O
find the moles  of NaOH  used = molarity x volume
= 1.2 x0.22 = 0.264  moles

by  use mole ratio between  NaOH to HCl  which  is 1:1  the  moles of HCl =0.264  moles

volume =moles/molarity

=0.264/0.45= 0.587  liters  of HCL
