United States F. B.I. to solve homicide cases. He has been called to a
suspicious site in Miranda B. backyard where he finds a deceased
individual. Fearing it might be an annoying classmate that has died he
attempts to solve the case. Lucien A. will have to conduct a Carbon-14
dating on the remains because he knows that Carbon-14 has a Half-Life
of 5.730 years. The evidence he obtains indicates that 50% of the
Carbon-14 is gone. Why is this NOT a homicide case (YOU MUST JUSTIFY
YOUR ANSWER)?
