How is sodium acetate formed when baking soda and vinegar are mixed? When we mixed baking soda and vinegar together, the mixture fizzed creating CO2. At the end of the experiment, we were left with CO2, water, and sodium acetate, but I don’t understand how the sodium acetate and water were formed.

Plz give me a simple explanation lol
