An absent-minded teacher filled six differently-colored plastic containers with six different ionic solids and forgot to label the containers. He did, however, remember the following facts: 1. The compound with the lowest molar mass is in the yellow container while the red
container holds the compound with the highest molar mass.
2. Copper(II) sulfate cannot be in the green container because that container holds an iron compound.
3.The yellow and white containers both hold oxide compounds.
4. Iron(II) sulfate heptahydrate is the only hydrated compound and is NOT in the black container.
5. Two compounds are bromides, and one of them is in the blue container. Neither is in the red container
6. There are two aluminum compounds and both of them have a molar mass higher than that of copper (II) oxide.

Hannah is writing a report on how albedo affects the global climate. she’s proofreading her passage for any factual errors. which sentence must hannah correct before submitting her report? earth receives energy from the sun. this energy drives many of the processes on earth, including its climate. some part of this energy is reflected by earth’s surface. we use the term albedo to describe the reflected energy. albedo of an object is the ratio of the reflected radiation to the total radiation reaching the object. a value of 0 means no energy is absorbed by the object, whereas a value of 1 means that all of the energy is absorbed. in this way, the albedo of an object can influence earth’s atmospheric temperature.

Since the gas in your graduated cylinder is a mixture of butane and water vapor, you must determine the partial pressure of the butane, pbutane, alone. to do this, consult a reference and record the partial pressure of the water vapor, pwater, at the temperature you recorded. use the following formula to compute the partial pressure of the butane. pbutane = atmosphere - pwater use the following combined gas law formula and compute the volume that the butane sample will occupy at stp. (hint: convert both temperatures to kelvin.) pbutane x voriginal = pstandard x vfinal troom tstandard use the following ratio and proportion formula to determine the mass of butane needed to occupy a volume of 22.4 l at stp. grams of butane you used “x” grams of butane ml of butane corrected to stp = 22,400 ml compute the theoretical molar mass of butane based on its formula and the atomic masses on the periodic table. compare your experimental results from #3 to the theoretical value of #4, computing a percent error of your findings using this formula: % error = measured value - accepted value x 100 accepted value use the following ratio and proportion formula to determine the mass of butane needed to occupy a volume of 22.4 l at stp. need asap
