A single carbon-12 atom has a mass of 12 amu by definition of the atomic mass unit. Convert 12 amu to grams, and then calculate the mass in grams of a mole of carbon-12 atoms. Teacher gave us the problem but explained how to do it with words not with a step by step example, so I'm confused.
