A chemist in a mine research lab is trying to figure out what reaction to conduct in order to separate the metal silver from a silver nitrate compound (AgNO3). This compound is contained in a silver ore found in one of the mines that are being used for research. The scientist refers back to the metal reactivity list to determine which metal would allow the silver to be released from the silver nitrate.
