A Calorimetry experiment is performed. 100.0 mL of water is measured and placed in a beaker. The temperature of the water is 25.0°C. An unknown sample of metal is weighed and the mass is found to be 25.0 g. It was placed in boiling water for 5 minutes and transferred to the beaker of water and was submerged. The highest temperature that the water in the beaker rose to was 26.0°C. Find the specific heat of the metal and identify the metal using the table given in the instructions. Show all work to get credit and include the proper sig figs and units.
