Determine if the following systematic errors would have a positive effect (increase) or negative effect (decrease) on the percent yield: 1. Some of the reactants remained in the weigh boat and were not transferred to the test tube.
2. The sample was unable to cool to a low enough temperature before performing the vacuum filtration.
3. The storage drawer did not allow the sample from Day 1 to fully dry.
4. The analytical balance used to measure the product has not been calibrated in some time and added 0.0500 g to the mass of the product.
5. The contents of the test tube were poured into the Buchner funnel too quickly and some stuck to the side of the Buchner funnel. This portion of product was not included in the final weighed product.
