A group of students from another class wanted to improve their electromagnet design. Starting with the standard design that everyone used in class, they decreased the number of winds on the core and added three more batteries. Then they tested their new design. Their electromagnet could pick up more paper clips than the original design. They recorded the following conclusion: The fact that our modified electromagnet picked up more paper clips tells us that less winds and more batteries are both ways to make an electromagnet stronger . Evaluate this group's investigation and explain to them why you agree or why you disagree with their conclusion .
