Explain why the can be collapsed using the Combine Gas Law: where T1 is the initial temperature (hotter) of the air inside the can before the can be inverted and T2 is the temperature of the air inside the can after it was plunged into the ice water. Focus on the effect that temperature had on the pressure.
Did the can need to be inverted? Why or why not?
