A tube is placed in a cylinder filled with water. A tuning fork is struck and brought near the tube. The tube is moved up out of the water until a sound is heard in the tube. The steps are repeated using tuning forks that produce different frequencies, and the length of tube above the water is recorded each time in a table.

Based on the activity, how does a change in frequency affect the behavior of sound?
Sound can resonate in the tube only in the range between 256 to 440 Hz
Above 320 Hz, sound can resonate at every length the tube is raised or lowered in the water,
O Tuning forks with higher frequency allow sound to resonate in the tube for a longer time period.
The lower the frequency of the tuning fork, the more tube will be raised above the water to resonate.
