ASSESSMENT Reflect back on the essential question.

Essential Question: How does the transfer of thermal energy become minimized or maximized?

Review your hypothesis, as well as your observations, to answer questions and show your analysis.

For this project, you will upload a copy of your completed data table, including your hypothesis and observations. You will also answer the following questions to show your analysis.

Review your observations, and answer the following questions.

PROJECT: MINIMIZING/MAXIMIZING THERMAL ENERGY TRANSFER
How do you keep things cold that you want cold? How do we cool something down quickly? In this experiment, you will apply your knowledge about temperature and thermal energy. You will investigate the transfer of thermal energy with real life examples. You will create a method to minimize or maximize thermal energy transfer. Explain your observations. What did you observe as time passed in each can of liquid? Did you see a significant change in temperature? Why or why not? Submit your data chart here.
