Mr. Garcia's students are studying animal habitats. A habitat is the place where an animal or plant lives. They marked off five plots on the school campus to count worms. First they predicted that the most worms would live in the damp, shady places on campus,
Then they made their counts. The number of worms they found in each plot is recorded in the data table, Maria and Sarah
suggested that they cover the sunny plots with some wet hay and then go back and count the worms in a week. Predict the
outcome if the girls make this change.
