Layers of the Atmosphere OBJECTIVE: To discover how the atmosphere can be divided into layers based on temperature changes at different heights, by making a graph.

this is chemical change (chemical reaction), because two new substances are formed (metalig liquid and gas), the atoms are rearranged and the reaction is followed by an energy change.

chemical decomposition is opposite of chemical synthesis.
