If your body manages to maintain homeostasis, then it means everything is in order, and you are in a healthy state. However, getting sick would indicate that your body conditions are not stable. This happens when the homeostasis is disrupted due to the interference of pathogens such as viruses and bacteria; for example, catching a flu virus would cause you to have a fever, cold, sore throat, and muscle aches. These symptoms eventually weaken your body and prevent you from performing your daily life functions.
