What is the difference between mass and weight?

Weight is the measure of the amount of force acting on a mass due to acceleration due to gravity.Mass is the scalar quantity and weight is a vector quantity. The unit of mass is kg while the unit of weight is N. Mass can't be changed by changing place, weight can be changed by changing the place.
