Because Ksp should be independent of the solvent, we would expect the more accurate treatment of the data to have a smaller difference between the values obtained in pure water and in 0.01 M KIO3. Do your data show that Ksp is more nearly a constant when activity effects are included in the calculation? Experimental error may obscure this observation, but it is an expectation.
