1. Miguel is a salesman for Hyperion Car Dealership. One day, he is negotiating the price on an SUV with Tom, a new customer. Miguel is a skilled negotiator, and Tom becomes frustrated that he is not getting a lower price. Tom begins loudly insulting Miguel, shouting racial slurs and threatening to have Miguel deported. Miguel is shaken by this incident. He has difficulty sleeping and experiences a decline in his job performance, and then a decline his salary, which is based on sales commissions.

2. Employees at Viceroy Golf notice a woman walking her dog on the golf course one day. The woman does not interfere with the golfers, and in fact makes an effort to stay out of their way, and she is careful to clean up after her dog. However, she is not a customer or an employee of the golf course. The golf course has signs posted around the property that state the course is private property.

3. Janine, the owner of Janine’s Vegan Café, is looking for an ecologically friendly dishwashing soap. She finds one made by an online company, and orders a case of it. Then, when she starts using the soap, she discovers that anything washed with it develops a strong, bitter odor and taste. Customers begin to get sick after eating off of plates washed with the soap.
