For instance, accountants are grouped in the financial department and the same applies to the departments of marketing, business, and human resources. It divides employees into departments according to their specialization and then divides them into projects and products. A lot of planning and effort is needed to achieve this structure, but one of these is to increase the team's productivity. This is to promote innovation and creativity.

The traditional top-down management system is impeded by a flat organizational structure. There is no boss concept, each employee is the boss, which removes bureaucracy and improves direct communication. For example, an employee with an innovative idea or proposal need not contact every level of senior managers in order to get an idea from the person responsible. Staff can directly communicate with each other on an individual basis.
