Another thrilling part in shows is when the criminals turn out to be doing something because they were influenced heavily. They may have been influenced by their parents, friends, siblings, or maybe even their idol, or star. There is always a reason that something is done--this does not change in criminal-like cases. A couple questions you might ask are: "Why did the criminal do this?" "What caused the criminal to be like this?" "What is the criminal's goal?".
