The Yankees were the lead investors in a group that included Amazon and Sinclair Broadcast Group that bought 80% of the YES Network from Walt Disney in August 2019. The enterprise value of the deal was $3.47 billion. Prior to the deal, the Yankees owned 20% of the regional sports network.
