In management, groupthink is just the opposite, and it is actually bad for work groups and team work. Groupthink is a negative psychological phenomenon that takes place in many different places: schools, work, sports clubs, families, etc. It basically happens when group members feel such a strong need to belong in the group and not be considered part of the outgroup, that they will accept whatever decision the leader makes or imposes. Individual members are afraid to think differently and they will not even dare to criticize any decision made by the leader because they fear the negative consequences of not obeying or complying with the group's norms.

So in this case, since the team that was in charge of developing the Razr phone was successful, then we can assume that every team member was important and participated in the project. Even though it is possible that the team members shared many ideas and values, it is highly unlikely that a team were groupthink exists is able to develop something positive. Groupthink is related to a very authoritarian leadership style, which doesn't really stand out for creativity.
