Direct marketing channels are those who are in contact with their customers directly. they do not require an intermediary party to deal with their operations because it is more beneficial and effective in terms of direct coordination.

For example banks deal with their customers on one on one basis. Computer or technology dealers whose basic work would be skill related follow the direct marketing channel. Del is an example of computer and technology sector that follows this strategy.
