Non-monetary factors are comprised of status and convenience. Status is strongly preferred to convenience. The schools you are considering are Stony Brook, LIU-Post, and Hofstra.

For costs, Stony Brook is strongly preferred to LIU-Post and Hofstra. Hofstra is weakly preferred to LIU-Post.
For status, Stony Brook is weakly preferred to Hofstra. Hofstra is weakly preferred to LIU-Post. Stony Brook is strongly preferred to LIU-Post.
For convenience, LIU-Post is strongly preferred to Stony Brook, and weakly preferred to Hofstra. Hofstra is strongly preferred to Stony Brook for convenience.
