In order to practice good time management, high-priority tasks should be checked off your list first.

You have to deal first with the most important tasks, and complete them first. You decide which tasks are important for a reason, so if they are important, you must deal with them as soon as possible. Low priority tasks should be dealt later after you have completed the important tasks.

As you spend more time on one activity, the opportunity cost in terms of other activities increases. For example, if you have to decide whether to work or play Fortnite, the amount of money you spend playing costs the amount of money you could have earned working.
