Why are renewable sources of energy better than nonrenewable sources? answers?

Renewable sources of energy are like solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, hydropower etc. They are sustainable since they are naturally replenished.

Nonrenewable sources are like coal, petroleum, natural gas. Their uses are non-sustainable because their formation takes millions of years.
