Beta cells produce, store and secrete hormone insulin. It regulates blood glucose, in case high blood, it decrease blood glucose level and Store glucose in the form of glycogen in liver and muscles. Delta cells produce peptide hormone somatostatin. Pancreatic somatostatin inhibits the release of both glucagon and insulin.
