Direct person-to-person contact communicable disease spread refers to Infectious diseases which can be transmitted when someone who has ben infected with the disease touches or exchanges body fluids with anothe person.

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) such as gonorrhea and HIV are examples of diseases that can be transmitted through direct person-to-person contact.

b. Through animals

These are diseases that are communicated or spread when an infected bits a person or when the animal is consumed or touched.

Zoonotic diseases such as rabies from dog, and Psittacosis from birds are example of through animals communicable disease spread.

c. By contaminated materials

This refers to disease that can be transmitted when a material such as a an object or surface already contaminated by an infected person it held or touched without washing hands immediately.

Examples of diseases that can be transmitted this way are norovirus, Coronavirus, and influenza.

Diseases like HIV/AIDS, chickenpox and many other STD's are communicable diseases.Through animals: the disease can transmit from the animals to the individual through modes like bites, through consuming the meat of the infected animals. Diseases like rabies, ringworm, anthrax etc. come under this category.By contaminated materials: the infectious agent can be transmitted from the material to the organism or the person when the surface of the infectious agent comes in contact via hands, nose or any open wound. Diseases like coronavirus, influenza etc. spread through the contaminated material.

Therefore, AIDS, rabies and coronavirus are communicable diseases.
