What feature do lymphatic vessels share with veins that allows lymph to flow in only one direction?

One-way valves are normal anatomical structures found in lymph vessels which primarily function to prevent back flow, especially against gravity, and to promote the flow of the lymph in only one direction. These valves also prevent venous blood from entering the lymphatic system.

It may have some of the same features that it’s mother does but, it may have some of the same features that it’s father has as well.
