Describe an advantage of having cells that can differentiate many times

Think of us humans we start from one cell and can create many different types of cells. Our cells can morph to make up all the cells that we need to create all the many things that make up the human body.

The advantage is that if our cells are damaged then the fact that cells can differentiate means our old cells can be replaced making us healthy
