Low tide happens once a day is the trough of a tidal wave happens 2 hours after high tide only happens during the spring

In most places, two high tides and two low tides occur daily. tides happen because the moon's gravity is pulling on the earth and its oceans. the oceans are fluid and can move more than the land, so they move towards the moon. as the moon revolves around the earth, it creates high tides and low tides. so it happens 2 hours after high tide most places have 2 high tides and 2 low tides btw
