Explain what is meant by the term environmental justice.

Environmental justice has to do with equality of all people, not taking into consideration their skin color, ethnicity, or social status. This is something which in America is guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence, that 'all men are created equal,' which means that they are all equal regardless of what gender they are, what their race is, where they come from, or how much they earn on a monthly basis - everyone is (or rather should be) the same.

Environmental Justice is the fair treatment and involvement of all people, regardless of their race, religion, etc.
