Honestly, as a Paramedic...if I have a morbidly obese patient that we cannot get out of a chair; we will call the fire department. At this point you could (with heavy man power), tip the chair backwards, while comforting the patient that she will not fall and have a tarp or lifting blanket ready to be able to transfer her over to a stretcher.
