In diffusion, the molecule is moving from the container with higher concentration into the lower concentration, resulting in a similar concentration between both containers in the end.
But in osmosis, the molecule can't move. The molecule can attract water, so the container with higher concentration will attract more water. This will cause the water to move, not the molecule. The water will move from the container with lower concentration into the higher concentration. The result after the osmosis should be both containers have similar concentration, just like diffusion.
