There are different methods of heat transfer - conduction, convection, evaporation, and radiation, When an object gets heat, the molecules in it starts to move. It means the storage energy i.e. potential energy of the molecules transferred into kinetic energy. In each method of heat transfer, it happens.  

The transfer of heat due to kinetic energy from one molecule to another has seen in liquids. It means excitation of one molecule to another by the bombardment of the molecules. When the liquid heats the part of liquid which receives heat, becomes less dense and start moving upward. The upper region of the liquid is cold and denser also. Hence it moves down.  

This movement of liquids due to heat happens circularly, unless and until the heat gets uniform heat. Due to connection, any particles- ink, sugar mixes in water by application of heat, without stirring.  This method of heat transfer is called convection.

Conduction of also one method of heat transfer due to contact. The good conductors of heat like metals carry heat by conduction.  

In the evaporation method, the liquids reach their melting point and get vapor.  

The heat radiation is the method where heat emits heatwave and it transforms into another form of energy - electromagnetic energy.
