A toxin molecule has entered a cell. It is very small and polar. Its concentration is very high outside of a cell compared to the inside of the same cell. The cell will need to remove any toxin molecules from the inside of the cell to survive. Which transport method will the cell use to force all of the toxin molecules to cross the cell membrane and leave the cell ?

Active Transport

Explanation: Transport that requires the utilization of energy is considered active transport. Active transport is required any time a molecule is polar, and/or too large to travel across the membrane through diffusion. If active transport isn't the right answer, facilitated diffusion is also another possibility.  Facilitated diffusion is just considered as the flow of diffusion against the natural concentration.
