The oxygen you inhale, the air then passes across the thin lining of air sacs and into the blood vessels of your body. This is known as diffusion as I listed. The oxygen in the blood is now being carried around the body in the bloodstream, reaching every cell. When oxygen passes into the bloodstream, carbon dioxide leaves it as well.

fumikage isn't really a bird, and tsuyu does have teeth. tsuyu has a transformation quirk which still allows her to be partially human. otherwise we'd have a large frog running around. fumikage has teeth because again, he isn't a bird. his head was a quirk mixture if i'm correct.
