What is the evolutionary evidence that endosymbiosis is real?

Most important are the many striking similarities between prokaryotes (like bacteria) and mitochondria: Membranes — Mitochondria have their own cell membranes, just like a prokaryotic cell does. DNA — Each mitochondrion has its own circular DNA genome, like a bacteria's genome, but much smaller.

a warm, wet climate will produce the highest rate of weathering. the warmer a climate is, the more types of vegetation it will have and the greater the rate of biological weathering (figure below). this happens because plants and bacteria grow and multiply faster in warmer temperatures.
