Why is water wet, and why aren't stew or soup considered drinks if we can drink the broth

Water is wet because when you have water on your clothes or skin it evaporates into the surrounding air. Evaporation produces cooling because it's like energy. and soup is a food because that's how it's served. It's food. Plain broth can be either a soup/food or a drink, since you can eat it out of a bowl with a spoon, or put it in a cup and drink it. But soup is for eating.
