Discuss the green house effect Greenhouse Effect: Sunlight shining through the glass of a greenhouse warms the soil, which in turn warms the air.  The glass walls trap some of the heat.  This is an analogy to the earth’s being insulated by its atmosphere, more now than ever before because the composition of the atmosphere is changing. What components of the atmosphere are increasing? Why are these components increasing in the atmosphere? What are possible effects of the warming of the atmosphere?​
