Biodiversity plays a vital role towards ecosystem, it is very important and contribute to the overall health of an Eco system.
Biodiversity boosts Eco system by increasing its productivity. Examples of biodiversity we saw in the farming, crops are used for feeding animals and animal wastes are used in nourishing plants. plants produces the food which is used by humans. similarly if their is more variety of plant species, there is more number and variety of crops.

Each species depends on the services provided by other species to ensure survival. It is a type of cooperation based on mutual survival and is often what a "balanced ecosystem". (Shah 2014)
