Will a circuit will work if it has a break in it?

No it will not work if there is a break in it

No. The circuit will not work because a circuit works by electrons going through objects such as a copper wire around in a circle. This is the reason a battery has a postive and negative end. So if you break the circuit, the electrons cannot get to the other side of the battery and cannot keep the curcuit going round and round.
