At higher latitudes, climates become cooler warmer drier wetter

The latitude describes the location of a place north and south of the equator and which can be expressed in terms of angular measurements ranging from the 0° at the equator to 90° at the poles. Different latitudes receives different amount of sunlight. This is responsible for the variation in the climatic conditions. The higher latitudes receives lower amount of sunlight as compared to lower latitudes, therefore, the climatic condition of the higher latitudes is expected to be cooler than lower latitudes.
