Compare the differences between primary succession and secondary succession

Primary succession is the colonization of living organisms into an area that was not previously colonized by any living things. A Secondary succession is the regeneration of the living community after a major disturbance.

Primary succession occurs following an opening of a pristine habitat, for example, a lava flow, an area left from retreated glacier, or abandoned strip mine. In contrast, secondary succession is a response to a disturbance, for example, forest fire, tsunami, flood, or an abandoned field

Mars and earth have quite a few things in common. both are  terrestrial planets, both are located within the sun’s  habitable zone, both have  polar ice caps, similarly  tilted axes, and similar  variations in temperature. and according to some of the latest scientific data obtained by rovers and atmospheric probes, it is now known that mars once had a  dense atmosphere  and was covered with  warm, flowing water.
